Jamie Morris

Jamie is a Associate Mechanical Engineer with over ten years’ experience in the construction industry. Having progressed through the ranks at The Engineering Practice, he is responsible for leading projects from start to finish with duties including Client/Project Team Interface, Design Development, Performance Improvement, Low Energy Design Integration, Site Inspections, Survey Writing, Cost Advice, Technical Design/Drawings and Specification Writing. 

He has worked on a wide variety of projects within the built environment giving him an in depth and practical knowledge across diverse sectors from small build refurbishments to large scale projects. Most notably working on prestigious projects for large companies such as QA Ltd (including their flagship Central London International House Centre), Etc venues including design of their ‘155 Bishopsgate’ Conference & Events facilities, TGI Fridays and Premier Inn Hotels. 

Jamie prides himself on a client focused approach; he particularly enjoys the challenge of delivering bespoke advice and solutions to assist his clients, to ensure that they achieve the most practical and cost effective solutions available to them. 

Jamie has a passion for developing innovative engineering solutions. His primary focus is to deliver the optimum internal environment whilst surpassing the low energy success criteria stipulated in a client brief or planning document such as local council plans.
